Engineer Jaber Hareb Al Khaili, the CEO of the Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (Zonescorp) in Abu Dhabi, received a high level Saudi delegation representing the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

The Saudi delegation is composed of members representing different types of Saudi sectors such as: banks & financial services, food industries, information technology, engineering services, medical & electric equipment, and property development.

Engineer Jaber Al Khaili explained to the visiting delegation in details the objectives of establishing Zonescorp and why ZonesCorp is considered to be one of the main economic pillars of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

 Engineer Al Khaili also briefed the delegation on privileges and facilitations offered by ZonesCorp to its investors through its One-stop-Shop (OSS) Project.

The OSS Project aims at facilitating the services offered to ZonesCorp’s investors. By implementing the OSS services will be used to get the required industrial license, building permits, etc…These procedures could be processed online as well.

Engineer Jaber Al Khaili also explained to the delegation the stages of the developing of Abu Dhabi Industrial City (ICAD 1), (ICAD 2), (ICAD 3), Al Ain Industrial City (AAIC) and the Workers’ Residential Cites (WRCs).

He also expressed that the Zonescorp is working hard to qualify UAE nationals to participate in the sector of industrial investments as all that comes under its strategy and its objectives.

In this respect, Mr. Al Khaili said:” the keenness of the wise leadership of HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and the support of HH General Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the follow - up of HH Sheikh Hammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Court of HH Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Chairman of Zonescorp assure the active role of the Zonescorp to encourage local industries, develop them in order to meet local demand and  be able to compete at regional & international levels. 

All questions and quires raised by the members of the delegation were answered by Mr. AL Khaili who explained to them that Zonescorp is looking forward to establishing joint ventures with Saudi investors as that will be in the interests of the two sides.
