Al Ain Industrial City to be ready by 2008
ABU DHABI
Al Ain Industrial City AAIC will be completed by the beginning of next year to promote industrial activity in the garden city.
To be spread over 10 square kilometres, the city is divided into eight different sub zones.
"Abu Dhabi is eying Zonescorp as one of its income sources as it is pumping local, regional and international investments into the Emirate," said Shaikh Hamed bin Zayed, Chairman of Zonescorp.
Al Ain Industrial City AAIC project is another positive step to put Abu Dhabi on the global industrial map. "This project is in good progress right now
and is expected to be completed by the beginning of next year as declared by Zonescorp," said Shaikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He said this Industrial city will provide all needs and inputs for various types of industries. It will also add a new dimension to culture and tourism in Al Ain.
Zonescorp CEO, Engineer Jaber Hareb Al Khaili said Al Ain Industrial City project will pave the way for small and medium industries as well
as food and agricultural industries. "It is a step to create more industrial cities in different parts of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Such cities will
inject life in these areas and boost the process of construction and development," Khaili said.
