The Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp) recently organized a two-day blood donation drive in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Central Blood Bank at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

 ZonesCorp, a government-backed entity established in Abu Dhabi in 2004 to enhance and develop the industrial sector, conducted the CSR campaign in the belief of enhancing participation of the industrial sector employees in social activities that benefit the UAE society.

The drive targeted all ZonesCorp employees, in addition to all employees working within the organization’s different zones.

 Mohamed Hasan Al Qamzi said: “ZonesCorp continuously works to join efforts with various local entities to reiterate its commitment to our society. We have organised this blood donation campaign in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Central Blood Bank and have invited all those who wish to partake in this effort to participate, as we truly believe in the importance of blood donation to the community.”

 The drive took place at ZonesCorp’s main headquarters, where a fully-equipped mobile blood bank was set up. A team of experts and doctors were present to conduct the necessary medical tests on all individuals who wished to donate.
